Bathroom renovation in Dubai
A bathroom involves every trade in a small room: demolition, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, electrical, ceiling, sanitary ware, glass and painting. Doing it with one contractor keeps the sequence right. Recent bathroom work includes full refits with feature tiling, gold fittings and frameless shower screens.
What the job includes
- Strip-out of tiles, sanitary ware and fittings
- Plumbing alterations: relocating WC, basin or shower drains
- Waterproofing to floor and wet walls
- Floor and wall tiling, marble or porcelain, with niches and falls
- Sanitary ware, vanities, mirrors and accessories
- Frameless glass shower screens
- Moisture-resistant gypsum ceiling, lighting and extraction
What changes the quotation
So the estimate makes sense before the site visit.
- Whether drains and pipes move — relocation adds plumbing and floor work
- Tile size and material; large-format and marble take longer
- Fittings and sanitary ware chosen
- Access in an occupied home or a tower

Questions we get asked
How long is the bathroom out of use?
A full refit takes a couple of weeks depending on tiling and drying times for waterproofing. Where a villa has more than one bathroom they are done one at a time.
Do you supply the tiles and sanitary ware or do we buy them?
Either. The company can supply from its usual suppliers or install materials you have chosen. The quotation shows supply and installation separately.
