Tiling, marble and granite in Dubai
Ceramic and porcelain tiling, marble and granite are the hard floors and wet-area walls in most UAE homes and commercial spaces. The company fixes them as part of bathroom and kitchen renovations, full-floor replacements and new fit-outs, including large-format porcelain and book-matched marble.
What the job includes
- Removal of existing tiles and screed repair
- Waterproofing to wet areas before tiling
- Setting out for balanced cuts and pattern alignment
- Fixing with the correct adhesive for the tile size and substrate
- Grouting, silicone joints, and polishing of natural stone
What changes the quotation
So the estimate makes sense before the site visit.
- Tile size and material — large-format porcelain and natural stone need more time and different adhesives
- Pattern: straight, brick, herringbone or book-matched marble
- Wet-area waterproofing and falls to drains
- Whether old tiles must be removed or can be tiled over

Questions we get asked
Can new tiles go over old tiles?
Sometimes, if the old tiles are sound, the floor height allows it and doors can still clear. In bathrooms we usually remove them to check and redo the waterproofing.
Marble or porcelain for a Dubai villa floor?
Porcelain is harder, cheaper and needs no sealing; marble is a natural material that looks different in every slab and needs periodic sealing. Both are laid regularly and we can show examples of each.
