SPC, vinyl and laminate flooring in Dubai
SPC (stone-plastic composite) and LVT vinyl planks are the fastest way to change a floor in an occupied home or office. They click together over a levelled base, tolerate the UAE's humidity better than laminate, and can usually be laid in a day or two per unit.

Can SPC be laid over existing tiles?
Yes, if the tiles are sound and the joints are not deep. Wide or deep grout lines are skimmed first so they do not telegraph through the planks.
SPC or laminate — which is better for Dubai?
SPC. It is waterproof and does not swell with humidity, which matters near kitchens, bathrooms and AC condensation. Laminate is cheaper but is limited to dry rooms.
Do I need to move out while the floor is done?
Usually not. Rooms are done one at a time, and click flooring has no adhesive cure time, so a room is usable as soon as the skirting is back on.
